It is really great. It would be a great improvement if we have at least the 
same sizes of icons, but the next release of Gnome 2 icons (take a look at 
their sources: gnome-mime-data-1.0.7) has these sizes:

Mimetypes:
14x17
23x29
35x42
48x52

Devices:
48x48
