So, use BSD license and you will be OK. BSD license means that you, as the 
author of the artwork, give permission to all (also proprietary companies) to 
use you artwork without paying you for your artwork. They can earn money 
using your hard work, and you don't get a shit.

I use GPL for my icons, and I don't want them to be a part of KDE libs, I 
release them on kde-look.org so users (and not companies) can freely use it. 
Of course, when I release my set of icons for KDE I am going to modify the 
GPL license and grant permission to all Linux distros which provides ISO 
files for free downloads.
