I just released the newest version of KFibs. The official homepage of

Description:
------------

KFibs is a graphical client for the First Internet Backgammon
Server. It translates the character based interface of the server in
an easy-to-use graphical representation and allows the user to move
pieces by just dragging them with the mouse instead of typing arcane
commands like "move 3-6 8-13".

Besides supporting a graphical representation of the actual backgammon
board, KFibs supports various other aspects of FIBS by using separate
windows. The multiple window approach allows the user to specifically
select the viewable information without restricting access to them.

Currently KFibs supports only online games on the First Internet
Backgammon Server and there are currently no plans to support any of
the commercial servers. There is however the plan of allowing off-line
games via a separate backgammon engine (the GNU Backgammon engine,
which has a FIBS rating in the 1700-1800 range).
