Announcing kdb 0.1.1

This is a database editor for files which look like /etc/passwd
(i. e. one record on one line and fields are separated by colons.)
 
This version still lacks user configurable separator and
escape chars and searching. But unlike 1.1, you can now
 
- create new files
- add, edit and remove records,
- edit field headers
- use the separator char (will be escaped,
        default separator char is ':',
        default escape char is '\'. This cannot be changed at
        the moment. This will be possible with the Settings/Format
        dialog. Please be patient...)
- use databases with header (shipped demo.csd) or
	without header (/etc/group)
 
 
I'll uploaded kdb-0.1.1.tar.gz to ftp.kde.org at
/pub/kde/Incoming by July 21st, 1998.
