In 3.2, the tooltip shows any active tasks. 
 
I'll leave this open, however, as I like the idea of showing the current total time. 
 
For me, I've thought it would be handy to have a preference setting to tell KArm to 
popup a window every N minutes to remind me what task I am on.  Sometimes I 
forget.  It would have to be very unobtrusive, gentle reminder; that is, a dialog that 
flashes up briefly, then disappears and doesn't require any user interaction.
