I've read the documentation available at the KDE website, and the
documentation available using the KDE help facility, but I haven't been
able to find what I'm looking for.

I've been able to do some of the things I want to do under KDE by
creating and editing some kdelnk files, but I haven't found any
documentation describing the capabilities of kdelnk files nor the syntax
and semantics of the kdelnk files.

I'm also looking for information describing how kde determines how the
screen should look when kde is first started. I've been able to piece
together a few things (perhaps most) but there are certainly things I
don't understand yet.

My goal is to at least be able to do everything I can with X and fvwm95
and AnotherLevel and understand what I'm doing.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, perhaps some web pages or
books that contain the information I want?
