One thing I've noticed when installing RedHat 6.0 is that the default
gcc compiler is gcc-2.7.2.x and not egcs-1.1.2. I had to change it
by hand after installation by backing up old gcc executable and creating
a symbolink link to egcs (the executable installed by egcs package).
Check this, it may be the cause of every compiled KDE application
segmentation fault. Try with "gcc -v".
