No.

I think questions 3 and 4 are rendered obsolete now, but nevertheless:

Koffice depends on a lot of stuff KDE 2.0 also depends on (Qt 2.x, CORBA)
and AFAIK Koffice itself even depends on KDE 2.0 (kdelibs). So it would be
nearly impossible to mix Koffice with KDE 1.1.2.

On my system I use KDE 1.1.2(pre) but do have an account to install/test KDE
2.0, however this means I have both Qt's and KDE's installed in seperate
dirs taking up lots of diskspace.
