Maybe IŽve missed something, but was the possibility of placing and
merging windows, that are next to each other, ever discussed? I am
really missing this feature in the current versions of KDE.
Now it is only possible to place two windows on a pixel by pixel basis
somewhere on the desktop.

WouldŽnt it be great if windows could be moved toward each other and
they could merge at their edges, or with the edges of the desktop?
Dragging from the center of the connecting line (between the windows)
would then resize both. Dragging offline would split them and resize
only one of the two (or more).

This would be a solution of getting some overview to crowded desktops...
