greetings!

jeez -- the archive server is sure slow this afternoon! i'm hoping to
search there for this, but i thought i'd post as well, because i'm in
a bit of a hurry.

i'm trying to compile the theme manager -- not the one in the current
unstable tree but the older one, from april, that managed themes. and
it invariably blows up during the build with a stack of undefined
references in libpng.so. i have both libpng and libpng-devel
installed, current versions, recognized by ldconfig. but no joy in
the compile.

i presume there's a trick to this, and if there is, i don't know it.

anyone?
