There needs to be a change made in the source code for kvt and konsole.

in command.c for kvt somewhere near the top.  Kvt should be using ptmx.

Konsole also doesn't work properly, probably something similar.  These two
programs look like they share a lot of the same functions.  Why are there
two programs?  What's the real differences?  Should the functions like the
pty handling really be a class that both programs can use?

Unixware 2.1.2,  Haven't tried Unixware 1.1.4 yet.
