Subject:    kfm takes a long time to load

Greetings.

For about a week or so, now, after KDE loads, kfm takes about 60 seconds
to load (that is, the icons show up on the desktop, and the buttons on
kpanel begin to work).  I didn't change the configuration, and I'm not
sure what I could have done to make this delay occur.  kfm used to load
quickly, so this is a bit of a disappointment.
