I also use both NT and Linux. I personally like *NIX better. A major
problem (or drawback) in the administration of NT is, that you have the
lack of getting big, tedious ever-repeating stuff done by using scripts.
Let's say, you have a computer-class (in school, college......) and every
two months you have to create 100 new users and have to delete 100 old ones.
You have the names in a list (from signing up for the course). How would
you do that in NT ? And thats just _one_ example........
I guess, NT is ok, if you don't have many users. People are used to it,
and in an office it sure is the better choice for the desktop (from the
point of view, that almost everybody knows how to deal with it). I hope
this is changing soon (with KOffice, although there is
already good Office software today)..............
From the stability and reliability viewpoint *NIX is sure beating NT.
