This is perfectly OK and is in fact the main reason Troll decided to let
GPLd stuff like KDE use the libs for free. If you for instance wrote a but
kicking Perfect Office 8 clone for KDE and decided to drop it for $ 80 a
pop you could do some serious business ... Just remember to leave a hole
open for other people to write filters ... Microsoft can produce new
formats for *.doc faster than Bill C can change girlfriends.
This commercial product could be sold in any way you like and could ( If I
recall the GNU GPL correctly ), include a full distro of KDE ( with sources )
and eaven Linux. This is how AplixWare is sold.
