Thank you, this did the trick. It compiled and even runs! ;-)

Apart from the fact that i'm very happy to see kcontrol back again,
yet another note: The "Windows" entry in the tree contains a subentry
"Windows" which opens a separate "Properties" window.  This entry
should be removed since there is already a "Properties" window inline.
