Don't know if that's the cause, but I remember reading on kde-devel that 
there is a problem with the way Qt handles margines when printing (something 
about them beeing fixed values that can't be changed from outside Qt).

And AFAIK all KDE apps use Qt to generate the Postscript through the use of 
the QPrinter class.

Hope this got fixed at least in Qt3
