> Summary: SVNPlugin breaks authentication under Mac OS X

Initial Comment:
SVNPlugin doesn't honour the additional password storage capabilities that the svn \
utilities provides (since 1.4). SVN can store it's passwords in Mac OS X's Keychain, \
in GNOME's keyring, etc.

When using a pre-existing working copy of an repository under Mac OS X that uses \
keychain authentication, SVNPlugin asks for credentials nonetheless. Even worse, \
regardless wether none or the correct ones are provided, the corresponding auth-file \
in ~/.subversion/auth/svn.simple is modified in such a way that the authentication is \
reverted to plaintext passwords:

== correct auth file "before SVNPlugin" ===
  1 K 8
  2 passtype
  3 V 8
  4 keychain
  5 K 15
...(irrelevant stuff)
===

== incorrect auth file "after SVNPlugin" ==
  1 K 15
  2 svn:realmstring
  3 V 36
...(irrelevant stuff)
===

To add injury to insult, if the user modifies his svn settings in such a way that no \
plaintext authentication is used, svn fails to update the file mentioned above, and \
thus every svn tool operating on the repository asks for credentials.
