Fedora Core 2
Win 98
Cable Modem
Linksys Router
--------------------

Last night, my room mate felt the need to format his computer and
reinstall Win 98 from the OEM disks. I copied all of his data files
from his Win 98 computer to my FC2 box no problem.

Now that he has his system up again, I forget how to configure
his Win98 box in able for my computer to show up in his
Network Neighborhood.

When I am on my box, I used to be able to get to his system by
using the following mount command:

mount -t smbfs -o username=XXXXX, password=XXXXX //kevinsa/c /mnt/win98
where kevinsa is the name of his computer, c is the drive (which I
already went in
and 'shared' under Network Neighborhood) and win98 is the directory I
created on
my machine. Now, I get a 'cannot resolve mount point' error.

What step/steps have I forgotten?

Michael
