as of 00:00 GMT 10/19/97 the three rc5-56 efforts have tested
over 50% of the 2^56 keys.

here's the calculation:

raw data:
  bovine           46.4476% tested
  Cyberian          5.0086% tested
  Infinite Monkeys  1.6181% tested

assumptions:
  Bovine tested 6% of the keyspace below 70000000000000
  as a contigous block then switched to testing randomly

  Cyberian is testing contigously starting with 70000000000000
  and testing upward

  Infinite monkeys is testing contigously starting with
  FFFFFFFFFFFFFF and testing downward

calculation:
  Cyberian and IM have no overlap so a total of 
  5.0086% + 1.6181% = 6.6267% have been tested by the two
  groups

  Bovine tested 46.4476% - 6% randomly = 40.4476% 

  40.4476% random * 6.6267% (Cyberian+IM) = 2.6803% duped keys
  or 3.9464% unduped keys

  so 3.9464% (Cyb + IM Unduped)+ 46.4476% (bovine)
     = 50.3940% tested
