Subject:    PerlMagick + Solaris2.5.1 + kernel patch 103640-32 = boom!

I compiled and installed Imagemagick and PerlMagick and its helpers
just fine on a Solaris box. Everything ran fine.

Then they didn't. Imagemagick runs just fine. PerlMagick dumps core
at line 52 of Image/Magick.pm:

bootstrap Image::Magick $VERSION;

The only thing that has changed is I applied a few OS patches.
None was major except the kernel jumbo patch 103640-32.

I tried recompiling everything to no avail.

Does anybody have a working version of PerlMagick on Solaris? If so,
what versions are you running?

Any suggestions about how to debug this problem would be appreciated.
Running under the perl debugger wasn't useful.

Here are some version numbers:

Solaris 2.5.1 103640-32
Imagemagick 5.1.1 00/02/01 Q:8 cristy@mystic.es.dupont.com
perl, version 5.005_02 built for sun4-solaris
