Most suggested to "rm -r" the stuff under /var/adm/sw/patch or run "cleanup -F".
Amounts to about the same thing as far as I can tell.  It's a new install, &
to be perfectly honest I would like to maintain the ability to backout a patch
a little bit longer.  Looks like the price to pay for that is the loss of a
significant amount of disk space.

Several respondents suggested archiving this tree & a) putting it on a FS with
more available space, or b) putting it out to tape.
