ahhhh.. this is in gPhoto2 (we're maintaining 2 versions of gPhoto:
0.4.x and 2.0.x :P).

can you send me a --debug dump? i'm 99% sure i know what the problem is,
but since i don't have a camera that supports folders, i don't want to
commit the changes until i know for sure. :P
