I made a little bash script that changes to root permissions (pass prompt)
it does the following: rmmod stv680 && rmmod videodev && cd 
/home/user/camerapics && gphoto2 --auto-detect -P && 
chmod 777 *.pnm && modprobe stv680

may not be conventional.. but it works for me
and just as I get this working.. my camera batteries are dying xx; and we 
dont have any more triple a's damnit to hell
