Thanks! But that part is already taken care of. The problem is that the list
of sessions in kdmrc is being overwritten with an automatically generated
list of known environments. That means the the sessions in my custom
Xsession file can't be called.

Anyone know at what point that's happening, and how I can stop it? It's not
an emerge issue, as it it seems to happen upon logout without running
emerge, so CONFIG_PROTECT doesn't help.
