Hi

I have my IDE CDRW working using ide-scsi - but I'm having a problem using it
as a normal CD-ROM in that I can't find it!

without ide-scsi it functions fine and I can mount and read away - but with
ide-scsi it doesn't seem to know where the cdrom device is. I have no
/dev/scd1 or anything, there is a /dev/scsi/ with some stuff in but nothing
mountable.

/dev/cdrom is a symlink to /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 which doesn't exist (in fact
there's nothing in /dev/cdroms/)

I know I'm missing something stupidly simple, but I cant find it in any howtos
or anything anywhere...

Any help appreciated in locating my lost CDROM :)
