running Gauntlet 4.2/BSD 3.1

I installed the smap and http patches and my system access (telnet) to the
firewall stopped working. I had enabled the netacl-telnetd proxy and stopped
and started the telnet proxy weeks ago and got system access working fine.
Immediately after installing the patches, I can still telnet to the firewall
and I get the telnet> prompt. But now I get a response when I type "c
localhost" that tells me "Not permitted to connect to localhost". The log
shows the following messages:

firewall tn-gw[4849]: deny host=nodnsquery/172.16.11.53 destination=localhost

Anyone else see this before? I'm combing thru the netperm-table now, but so
far no luck.

If you have any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks,

Sebastian Dunne
