Yes, we were getting a Transparency Processing Error.  Any ideas on what
that means?

The documentation has NO information on log messages at all. 

We are new to firewalls in general and Gauntlet in particular.  However, we
are having an on-site Gauntlet class starting tomorrow, which hopefully will
address some of these issues.

It should work fine. 
I have it running on a machine right next to me. Did you get anything in the
Log file relating to it?

Anyone out there able to make Gauntlet 3.0 for NT work?

We d/l the licensed 3.0 version from ftp.nai.com and installed it, could
never get telnet to work on a test network we had set up, despite days of
experimenting with different proxy/packet screening rules.  We removed it
and installed Gauntlet 2.1 on the same test net, old version we had
purchased still in shrink-wrap, and it worked right out of box!
