About: aria2 is a utility for downloading files. It has completely new
design concept from its predecessor, Aria, and is written from scratch.
aria2 has a segmented downloading engine in its core. It can download one
file from multiple URLs or multiple connections from one URL. This results
in very high speed downloading, much faster than ordinary browsers. This
engine in was implemented in a single-thread model. The architecture is
clean and easy to extend. aria2 currently supports HTTP, FTP, and
BitTorrent. 

Changes: This release adds a German translation, BitTorrent Fast Extension
support, and HTTP content-disposition header support. The peek download
performance was greatly improved.

About: BFilter is a smart filtering HTTP proxy. Its primary purpose is
removing banner ads. Unlike the majority of similar tools, it doesn't rely
on a list of blocked URLs, but instead parses HTML on the fly, and detects
ads using a set of heuristic rules. BFilter has a built-in Javascript
engine that detects js-generated ads.

Changes: A non-exploitable buffer overflow was fixed. It was introduced in
0.10, but didn't have a chance to manifest itself until 0.10.4. Windows and
PPC Macs weren't affected. A few minor bugs were fixed as well.

About: Extended Python Debugger is a more complete debugger for Python
than the stock pdb.py debugger. It supports a "restart" command,
non-interactive POSIX-like line tracing, command options, disassembly of
instructions, and stack traces that give better information for exec
statements. Stepping/nexting skips over method/function "defs". It tries
to follow gdb's command set unless there is good reason not to.

Changes: The gdb "command" (run commands on breakpoints) was added and the
"list" command expanded to be more like GDB's. Line tracing shows the
source text. Numerous little improvements were made to the documentation.

small read-write filesystem to be superimposed on read-only media such as

compatible with the syntax of unionfs. It is compatible with the mount
syntax, and you can now add entries in your fstab with funionfs overlays.
Support for xattr has been added. Support for ownership of the file
creator is added. This release is compatible with fuse 2.5 and 2.3 (just
modify the define in the Makefile). You can create fifos with mknod.

for interacting with hardware acceleration via OpenGL. You can use G3D

About: The SMS Server Tools (smstools) were made to send and receive SMS
from one or many GSM modems. They include a send/receive daemon and some
sample scripts to build an SMS email gateway and for logging into an SQL
database. The daemon waits for files in an outgoing spool directory and
sends them. It puts all received SMS in an incoming spool directory, and
can call any external program for incoming or outgoing notification. This
software support text messages in 7 and 16 bits (UCS2), as well as 8 bit
binary messages.

Changes: Two scripts have been added that convert hex-dump to decimal
numbers and binary files.

About: Suite-C Web is a collection of modules for Drupal that allow a
church to manage itself and communicate with its memebers. It currently
consists of a PrayerRequests module, which lets Web site visitors submit
prayer requests and later mark requests as 'answered' (or no longer
relevant), which filters the request them from the list of current prayer
requests.

Changes: This release adds the ability to filter based on
current/answered/all prayer requests and a field to view a prayer request
to indicate whether the request has already been answered.

NickServ/ChanServ/BotServ/MemoServ/OperServ. Features are loosely based on
Anope and ConferenceRoom/Auspice, as well as NeoStats. Some security

detector/banner, and a country detector (checks IP allocation). It is
multithreaded to eliminate lag due to the asynchronous nature of MySQL and
DNS lookups. 

Changes: Mostly minor feature changes, with a few small bugfixes.
Additionally, a change in how nick enforcement works (uses a special kind
of Q:line now).

About: white_dune is a graphical VRML97 editor, simple NURBS/Superformula
3D modeller and animation tool. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language)
is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins
("HTML for realtime 3D"). It has support for animation, real-time
interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can
read, create and display VRML97 files and let the user change the
scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via
"quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like
a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.

Changes: This release adds action-flatten-x/y/z for some shapes,
inputdevice support for icons to limit moves, some Covise/COVER extension
nodes and nonstandard fields, and a workaround for wrong drawing of the
Background cube. It fixes a missing interaction dialog for Covise/COVER
extension nodes, missing translations of status bar messages on mouseover
on menu entries, and a missing update of the Color node. It moves the
configure option about black and white icons into a commandline option. It
updates the documentation and simplifies the language translation task, and
updates the usage documentation and the RPM spec file.
