About: adesklets is an interactive Imlib2 console for the X Window System.
It provides to scripted languages a clean and simple way to write great
looking, mildly interactive desktop integrated graphic applets (aka
"desklets"). It can also be used as a command line oriented graphics

Changes: This minor version and bugfix release extended the documentation

About: The Heirloom Documentation Tools provide troff, nroff, and related
utilities to format manual pages and other documents for output on
terminals and printers. They are portable and enhanced versions of the
respective OpenSolaris utilities, which descend from ditroff and the
historical Unix troff. troff provides advanced typographical features such
as kerning, tracking, and hanging characters. It can access PostScript Type
1, OpenType, and TrueType fonts directly. Internationalized hyphenation,
international paper sizes, and UTF-8 input are supported.
Changes: troff requests to control the availability of warnings, to write
messages to separate files, and to read the output of a command from a
pipe are now available. Warnings for many conditions have been introduced.
The new ".mediasize" request instructs dpost to include information about
the page size in the generated PostScript for more convenient creation of
PDF documents. Hours, minutes, and seconds of the current time are now
available in number registers. Facilities to disable the shell escapes of

About: Slam is a mature IC Layout editor with the ability to edit very
large designs (such as stream files larger than 10GB). Novel features
include threading for redraw, support for displaying on multiple X servers
simultaneously, and a Tcl interface to the database for user extensibility.
The system is a library based system with multi-user support. Programmable
structures (P-Cells) are available in Tcl. The editor includes gds input
and output.
Changes: This release adds changes to support embedding the editor into
other programs, allowing third parties to use slam to view layout and then
overlay information such as yield data over the layout. Performance
enhancements include reducing VM between 5 to 10%. As an example, a 12.5
GB stream file now requires 5.8GB of memory instead of the previous 6.6GB.
When exiting, the software can capture window positions/cells open, so you
can restart the software the same way you exited. A new script is
available that can add a prefix to all cells in a stream file to avoid
name collisions.
