changes:
Support for multiple recipients has been added, followed closely by an
"encrypt to yourself" feature (so you can now decrypt messages which
you sent encrypted to someone else). Also, the temporary directory has
been changed so that users should have better security.

uninstall RPM-packages on ordinary text-terminal devices.

be more stable. Several parts of the code have been reviewed and

chat. slackjaw can be laden with phrases to say on events, or can be
configured to run silently. All configuration for the bot (after
initial setup) is executed via a CGI script, which in itself is
customizable, with multiple user login and access levels.

changes:
All Date::Manip dependencies have been removed. As a result, startup is
faster and RAM requirements are less. A bug where the bot would
occasionally say its own name when joining chat has been fixed. The bot

InterNetNews is a complete Usenet system. The cornerstone of the

as an nntpd merged with the B News inews, or as a C News relaynews that
reads multiple NNTP streams. Newsreading is handled by a separate
server, nnrpd, that is spawned for each client. Both innd and nnrpd
have some slight variances from the NNTP protocol (although in normal
use you will never notice); see the manpages. INN separates hosts that
feed you news from those that have users reading news.

changes:
inews no longer downloads the active file, no longer tries to send
postings to moderated groups to the moderator directly, and in general
duplicates less of the functionality of nnrpd, instead letting nnrpd
handle it. This fixes the problem of inews not working properly for
users other than news without being setgid. A man page has been added
for ckpasswd. A serious bug in the embedded Perl authentication hooks
was fixed, thanks to Jan Rychter. The annoying compilation problem with
embedded Perl filtering on Linux systems without libgdbm installed
should be fixed. INN now complains loudly at configure time if the
configured path for temporary files is world-writeable, since this
configuration can be a security hole. This release also contains many
other varied bug fixes and documentation fixes of all sorts over 2.3.0.

Guard (GnuPG) or "Pretty Good(Tm) Privacy" (PGP(Tm)) digital signatures
so users can be assured that packages have not been tampered with, and
it limits the maintainer to only update selected files and directories

SLOCCount (pronounced "sloc-count") is a suite of programs for counting
physical source lines of code (SLOC) in possibly large software systems
(it's a "software metrics tool" or "software measurement tool").
SLOCCount can count physical SLOC for a wide number of languages: C,
C++, LISP, shell, Perl, Assembly, TCL, Python, Yacc, Java, Expect, lex,
awk, Objective-C, Ada, Pascal, sed, and Fortran. It can take a large
set of files and automatically categorize their type using a number of
different heuristics, and comes with analysis tools as well. It's been
used to measure entire GNU/Linux distributions, and can be used for
smaller systems too.

changes:
Version 1.4 is an "ease-of-use" release, greatly simplifying SLOCCount
installation and use. An RPM makes installation trivial for RPM-based
systems, and "make install/uninstall" makes installation easy for
others. The new front-end tool "sloccount" does all the work in one
step. A man page is now included to complement existing documentation.

description:
This program provides basic caller-id logging to a database. It was
written to use mysql but as long as you can generate the table for your
own database, it should work fine. It puts the data into the table
without any format changes; the idea is that an auxiliary program can
make the format changes when it displays the data.

changes:
basic_callerid_logger has been updated with new termios settings for
more reliable startup and operation. It works with RedHat 7.

description:
The Linux Virtual Server Project is an open source project to cluster
many real servers together into a highly available, high-performance
virtual server. The LVS handles connections from clients and passes
them on the the real servers (so-called Layer 4 switching) and can
virtualize almost any TCP or UDP service, like HTTP, HTTPS, NNTP, FTP,
DNS, ssh, POP3, IMAP4, SMTP, etc.; it is fully transparent to the
client accessing the virtual service.

changes:
A new "packet_xmit" function in the ip_vs_conn entry, a new
"cache_bypass" feature, clarification of all the debug levels in the
code, and code cleanups.

description:
Firewall Builder consists of a GUI and set of policy compilers for
various firewall platforms. It helps users maintain a database of
objects and allows policy editing using simple drag-and-drop
operations. The GUI and policy compilers are completely independent,
and support for a new firewall platform can be added to the GUI without
any changes to the program (only a new policy compiler is needed). This
provides for a consistent abstract model and the same GUI for different
firewall platforms. It supports two platforms (ipchains and ipfilter).

description:
Java Serialization to XML (JSX) is an two-way bridge between XML and
Java. It automatically creates tags and attributes from classnames and
fieldnames - instead of you writing parsing code with SAX, DOM or JDOM.
It does three impossible things: handles classes which customise their
own serialization, creates without constructors, and accesses private
fields - instead of you rewriting classes as Java Beans. It also
handles circular references and arrays of arrays. JSX is lightweight.

changes:
Bugfixes for the java.util.Date and java.sql.Timestamp classes found by
JSX Challengers. Note: there have been fundamental API changes since
JSX 0.7, though the old API still works for many classes.
