Nick told me these tests failed on i386 and Alpha (64-bit) platforms, only
against SQL Server 2000.  He hadn't tested SQL Server 7.0 when I talked to
him.  I'm pretty sure he told me all was well with TDS 5.0.  

He's installing a newer unixODBC.  I'm optimistic that will fix turn out
to be why Frediano hadn't seen a problem (because he uses a current
version).
