Since the question has been asked several times already...

Event logging 1.4.2 is included in UL 1.0.

evlog-1.1.1 is included in MontaVista CGE 2.1, as well.

A new release, evlog-1.5, will be available in Dec. 2002
and contain a remote event forwarding feature, similar to
what syslog provides.  This will allow multiple hosts to
forward events to a central event "consolidator".

Future evlog releases will add additional capabilities
not available with syslog, including encryption.
