Subject: [ethereal-dev] Removing a window, like the byte view window ...

I looked briefly at being able to remove one or two windows, just like you
can with Netmon, and it does not seem too hard ...

With NetMon, you start out with the packet list, and then when you click on
a frame, it opens up the tree and byte views ...

Since the three views are managed with two paned windows, one in side the
other, it seems like you would want to do the following:

1. Not have any panes if you only wanted the tree view.
2. Only have one paned view if you wanted only the packet view and tree view
3. Have both panes in the current arangement if you wanted all three.

However, it seems that you will need some buttons or menu items to allow
you to switch between these three views, of allow enter to have a different
meaning.
