we don't maintain that link - sourceforge does. this is all generated by
sourceforge - we can't do anything about that. :(

i personally use ubuntu and do all my development and compile e (well duh) and
use the compiled and installed version - but as i develop on it... not
surprising. but it does work just fine. ubuntu has provided a much better setup
of "it just works" (eg hald for starters).

no problems. as for helping out - well code-wise, all the major work is focused
on e17 + libs supporting it or related to it. before starting to help you want
to be up to date there and "get used to it" if you aren't already. chances are
you probably will have an itch to scratch - as e17 is not complete. we have a
TODO list (the TODO file) and could always use help - start by sending patches
to the enlightenment-devel list and we will see how that goes (be patient -
sometimes it takes days or even weeks before a patch it reviewed). we can do
with help rebuilding out new website (the contents are also in cvs)... but if
you want to help- it is best to do something you:

1. are good at
2. enjoy
3. won't get bored of in 3 minutes
