Yes, it requires use of one of the K4 USB ports. It comes with three 
cables, a USB C to A that you connect to the K4. A USB C to C that you plug 
into the supplied wall wart for power and a HDMI to mini HDMI used to 
connect to the K4 video output.

The touchscreen works FB especially when the external monitor is mapped to 
mirror the K4 screen. But a change to an upcoming beta release of the K4 
software allows the touchscreen to work when the external monitor is mapped 
as a panadapter allowing you to select desired signals on the screen and 
QSY the K4.

Eric also found some right angle connectors so that the cables look much 
neater plugged into the screen on the sides while resting on top of the K4. 
I was going to use this setup at the Huntsville Hamfest this weekend before 
we decided to pull out due to the Covid situation there. (I work part-time 
for Elecraft).
