Subject:    [Elecraft] Problen with initial tests for KPA100

I have completed the KPA100 build up to page 23 of the manual. I =
installed the upgraded firmware versions for the K2, MCU (ver. 2.03d), =
K2IOC (ver. 1.07) and KSB2 (ver.1.07) that came with the KPA100. All =
initial tests were in spec. (except pin 27 on U1, should be 12-15V, =
found to be 0.62V) but when I powered up the K2 it did not function. The =
display did not light, no buttons functioned, no audio. Correct =
orientation of the IC's were verified. When I reinstalled the old =
firmware everything was fine again. Does anybody have any idea what =
would cause this to happen.
