Hi,
       I modified the the ISC dhcp client(ver 3.0) to
send DHCPINFORM only and receive 
response. When I invoke the client the following are
client and server messages

Client:
       Listening on DLPI/le0/08:00:20:8e:ed:92
	Sending on   DLPI/le0/08:00:20:8e:ed:92
	Sending on   Socket/fallback/fallback-net
	DHCPINFORM on le0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67  
Server:
	DHCPINFORM from 4.0.0.0 via tu0: unknown subnet
0.0.0.0
	DHCPINFORM from 4.0.0.0 via tu0
	DHCPACK to 0.0.0.0  
	send_packet: Host is unreachable                
   
        
	I guess the server is supposed to broadcast DHCPACK
when client address is unknown. I looked 
at the server code, it does not force the client to
send client IP address. 
Could anybody tell me what can be done on client side
to get the response. I hope Ted can help me out.
