Hi,

I have a windows dart client that sometimes produces abortive Update.xml
files. The build carries on, and all the files get submitted. The dashboard
then handles the corrupted update.xml gracefully - I just don't get any
update information for that build. I would like to fix the problem.

I've had a look at the source, but there is lots of stuff to go wrong in the
relevant place in update.tcl. I'm afraid my tcl skills stop well before the
exception/catch stuff - but if someone were to send me a patch instrumenting
update.tcl, I'd be happy to run it, and try and figure out what the problem
is.

Ian.

The update.xml file produced is

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Update mode="Client">
	<Site>IAN</Site>
	<BuildName>MSVC6.0-apm-qtools-finder</BuildName>
	<BuildStamp>20020822-2200-Nightly</BuildStamp>
	<StartDateTime>2002-08-22 22:00 GMT</StartDateTime>
	<UpdateCommand>{C:/Program Files/GNU/CVS/cvs.exe} -z3 update -d -P -D
"2002-08-22 22:00 GMT"</UpdateCommand>
	<UpdateReturnStatus></UpdateReturnStatus>
***File ends here.
