Hi,

I recently posted an article "Whose Distributed VCS is the most
Distributed?" on my blog at:

In the comments people were posting, it was quite clear that
"doppleganger patches" problem (the merge spinlock problem) is something
that is keeping a lot of people away from Darcs.

I remember reading awhile back that David was planning to do some heavy
thinking about this.  Has anything come of that, or is this problem
going to be with us for awhile?
