When I make a Pkgfile, I go through the build process in the "old
fashioned" way first, so that I can see what the Makefile looks like
and check the configuration options and quirks and dependencies. I
frequently build the thing a couple of times before I start writing a
Pkgfile for it. So if it needs libfubar.so, I can go and get that and
build it first.
