I doubt it due to scope of the challenge. It's not matter of just plugging
the lib into Calligra filters.
I would assume all major suites support standards already (OpenDocument
Format) as a common base. Even MS have admitted that MSOOXML is not such a
base (even) for their tech [1], to me it was more like a smoke and mirrors
+ NIH. Sending ODF files to users of MSO is no longer a blocker, why it
would be different with Apple users?
If the matter is desktop publishing/specific features present only in
iWorks then there's no way to have wide support for that, by definition
such things are application-specific.
