I wonder if it would be useful to provide more Quickbook document-types for more bibliographic info.

This will allow Boost stuff (and others) to become more 'mainstream' publishing friendly.

Current we have authors, license copyright etc.

Specifically I would like to add

ISBN

(And perhaps ISSN)

publisher.

But author affiliation, blurb, and other items in

http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/documentation/reference/html/biblioset.html

might be useful too from the list

BiblioSet ::=
((Abbrev|Abstract|Address|ArtPageNums|Author|AuthorGroup|
  AuthorInitials|BiblioMisc|BiblioSet|Collab|ConfGroup|
  ContractNum|ContractSponsor|Copyright|CorpAuthor|CorpName|Date|
  Edition|Editor|InvPartNumber|ISBN|ISSN|IssueNum|OrgName|
  OtherCredit|PageNums|PrintHistory|ProductName|ProductNumber|
  PubDate|Publisher|PublisherName|PubsNumber|ReleaseInfo|
  RevHistory|SeriesVolNums|Subtitle|Title|TitleAbbrev|VolumeNum|
  CiteTitle|Honorific|FirstName|Surname|Lineage|OtherName|
  Affiliation|AuthorBlurb|Contrib|IndexTerm)+)

For example it gives an example

<!DOCTYPE biblioentry PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V3.1//EN">
<biblioentry>
  <abbrev>Walsh97</abbrev>
  <biblioset relation=journal>
    <title>XML: Principles, Tools, and Techniques</title>
    <publisher>
      <publishername>O'Reilly &amp; Associates, Inc.</publishername>
    </publisher>
    <issn>1085-2301</issn>
    <editor><firstname>Dan</firstname><surname>Connolly</surname></editor>
  </biblioset>
  <biblioset relation=article>
    <title>A Guide to XML</title>
    <author><surname>Walsh</surname><firstname>Norman</firstname></author>
    <copyright><year>1997</year><holder>ArborText, Inc.</holder></copyright>
    <pagenums>97-108</pagenums>
  </biblioset>
</biblioentry>

Any of these items would appear on the front page where the other document info shows.

Views?

Paul

PS If these items are not to added to the list, is it possible to add using docBook commands?

    <isbn>1085-2301</isbn>
