FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE
International Ispell Version 3.1.20 (but really Aspell 0.60.1.1)

SHA1 (.aspell.en.prepl.bad) = ec832c158d88c5114d2541b121728aa9ebf21132
SHA1 (.aspell.en.prepl.good) = c67e80fedab89bb5b0b00a21feeef70dd4fdb91e
SHA1 (fs1r.txt.gz) = bc56fccaf614b34785144c2f248a3f54a9400d95

some files, when spell-checked, will consistently cause aspell to hang and
consume all of the CPU cycles it could get a hold of.

attached are pieces of my ~/.aspell.en.prepl file. i figured out which
line was causing the problem, but i have no idea why. the
".aspell.en.prepl.good" has the offending line removed, and runs fine. the
".aspell.en.prepl.bad" has the offending line and will hang when checking
some files.

of course, i'm now having a hard time finding a a file that will crash
it... "fs1r.txt.gz" is from
<http://www.harmony-central.com/Synth/Data/Yamaha/FS1R-01.html>. when
using ".aspell.en.prepl.bad" this will cause aspell to hang:
 	aspell -c fs1r.txt
and it hangs every time on line 445 while trying to check "ethernet".
