Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way of getting Applix Words to do merge fields
in the body of text rather than making each of the insertions a paragraph
in its own right?

For instance - say I want a paragraph which reads:

In contract no. [Merge ContractNo] dated [Merge Date] we said...

Words turns this into:

In contract no. 12345
dated 12/10/94
we said...

This strikes me as odd behaviour. It's easy to add a line break in
the document if I want one - how can I stop the merging code doing it
when I don't?

TIA,
John
