Just for the record and as promised some feedback from my own experience:
- no problems at all in running SA 3.0 RC1 or pre-1 with amavisd-new
20030616-p9
- only thing (but not amavis-specific) is to realise that SURBL support is
straight from the box with SA now

This shows Mark's efforts work great in practice!
