Hi everybody

I still try to get used to Quanta :-)
Several times I tried to see one of my pages in the VPL-view, but it seemed
that vpl never worked. Yesterday I updated all "kde-stuff" to the latest
available suse-rpms (kde version 3.5.1) using Yast on Opensuse 10.0. But it
still didn't work: vpl view is just empty, no matter if split-screen-view or
whole screen vpl.

So I was playing around a bit and found out, that if I take the following part
in a html-head out of the source, the vpl screen appears. When I paste it
back to source, vpl disappears again:

--------- piece of code: ---------
<!--[if lt IE 7]>
	<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/schrott.css" type="text/css">
<![endif]-->
--------------------------------------------

(I have this piece of code in the head of all my pages, because IE still
doesn't know how to handle css and I use a special additional style sheet for
IE only.)

Is this a bug, or is it once again something I just didn't understand or is it
even a wanted feature for some reason?

If you want to reproduce, you can see the page with which I tried it here:
http://www.rosmarie-bauer.ch/index.html
the page Is valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. (it's the non-nude artists web-site I made
for my mom, so nothing "indecent" to see there ;-) )

Thanks for any hints.

Daniel
