Yes 'save as' is the culprit here too.

It also happens after I commit via the Cervisia plugin

While confirming that, It just crashed on me. I attached the backtrace, 
hopefully it's useful.

This is Quanta 3.4.92 (Using KDE 3.5 (RC1)) kubuntu packages
