Hi Phil,

I used PyQt6 6.7.0 the recent days and did not find any more obstacles
on my Kubuntu 23.10 system. However, I tried is on my Chromebook in a
Linux environment (Debian 12, version 12.5) and starting eric fails with
a core dump. Unfortunately I have no clue why it does. The only thing I
recognized was an update of the 'libc' packages during the most recent
update. Thereafter I tried it in my Debian Virtualbox VM (which says it
is 12.4 after the latest update) and in there it works.

Regards,
Detlev

PS: After downgrading the PyQt6 packages on my Chromebook Linux to 6.6.x
everything worked again.
