Hi!

Well, before I can try out PyQt 3, I need to compile it ;) And that's
where I'm stuck right now with the following error message:

make install-data-hook
make[3]: Entering directory `/home/askwar/rpm/BUILD/PyQt-3.0/qt'
(cd /tmp; PYTHONPATH=/home/askwar/tmp/PyQt-3.0-1mdk-buildroot/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages:/home/askwar/tmp/PyQt-3.0-1mdk-buildroot/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages \
/usr/bin/python -O -c "import qt") Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<string>", line 1, in ?
  File "/home/askwar/tmp/PyQt-3.0-1mdk-buildroot/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/qt.py", \
line 44, in ? import libqtc
ImportError: /home/askwar/tmp/PyQt-3.0-1mdk-buildroot/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/libqtcmodule.so: \
undefined symbol: static_QUType_ptr

Any ideas about what's wrong here? I'm trying to compile it on
MandrakeLinux Cooker with both qt 2.3.1 and qt 3.0.3 installed.

I ran configure with these options:

./configure i586-mandrake-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr --exec-prefix=/usr
--bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc
--datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib
--libexecdir=/usr/lib --localstatedir=/var/lib --sharedstatedir=/usr/com
--mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info
--with-qt-includes=/usr/lib/qt3/include
--with-qt-libraries=/usr/lib/qt3/lib --with-qt-mocdir=/usr/lib/qt3/bin
