Summary: Add a "deny application control of maximization" option
                    in window-specific settings
           Product: kwin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwin@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde_bugzilla.zen.ssokolow@spamgourmet.com

Version: unknown (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25-gentoo-r7-20080501

As it is, I have two options when using gvim:

1. Let it mess with maximization, potentially causing KWin to forget the
original dimensions and certainly resulting in a distracting and irritating
border of uncovered desktop on the bottom and right edges.

2. Use window-specific settings to force a size of 1280x1024 (things like
forcing maximization don't work reliably) and lose the ability to un-maximize
my window.

The "window-specific settings" dialog needs a "Deny application control of
maxmization" toggle so I can have windows behave the way they do normally, but
prevent them from overriding default maximization behaviour in order to enforce
window aspect ratio hints.

I value full and proper mazimization over correct window aspect ratios, even if
that means having KWin draw in the extra space itself using the default window
background color.
